ADVENTURES

A Note on Maps
The maps on this website were created for use in OpenRPG, which overlays a grid onto the map.

  • The versions of maps on this website called "Software version" are meant for use with OpenRPG or similar software. They do not have gridlines and have a resolution of 50 pixels/inch, with one inch being one square. This means to use them in OpenRPG you would set your grid to 50 pixels/square.
  • The "printout" versions of maps have a grid overlaid on the picture already, and are set to typical web/print resolution of 72 pixels/inch.

Original Adventures
I write scenario-based games. This means, particularly for the investigation parts, there is not one right way to get to the information being sought. My game write ups will usually include at least one "possible avenue," but it is there to nudge towards the players if they seem to be stuck. My adventure write ups focus more on what is going on and what needs to be discovered for the adventure to be cohesive, rather than exactly how the players should get there.

Keep in mind that not all information may be necessary for the acolytes to complete the investigation, but may be necessary from a story perspective. (Shattered Hopes is a great example of an adventure that would have been better if there was a way for the players to learn what the GM knew.)

Also, please understand while the adventure packs are usually cleaned up a great deal from the original notes I used to run, they are still more "frameworks" than something with the level of polish put into Eternal Tide.
