ETERNAL TIDE

I was already conceptualizing Eternal Tide at the time the Scenario Contest was announced. Originally the stop on Spectoris was nothing more than a segway to Dusk (Spectoris being chosen for its link of abundant predators). However, I felt a multi-planet adventure was too non-traditional (and probably too long) for the contest, but didn't want to put Spectoris/Dusk on hold while I worked on yet another scenario. Instead, I expanded the Spectoris segment into the full adventure which became Eternal Tide.

However, when it came time to run Eternal Tide for my campaign (coincidentally the same day it was announced as a contest finalist), I re-incorporated the following to link it back to the adventure which became Tales at Dusk and make it campaign specific:

  • Added the organicist Arsius as a contact for the PC's on Spectoris. He is the one who helped create Zayel for Nocteun.
  • Added an a short event on Spectoris and a bit of dialogue for Caerivus that pointed at an accomplice on Dusk who also needed dealing with.
  • Put back in the campaign-specific dirt for Caerivus to drop about Lord Inquisitor Nocteun.

The adventure itself (ahh how I wish I could correct the typos!) is available at FFG: Eternal Tide

Available here is the original, slightly less fuzzy version of the Enkaiden map. While I drew the line art, all the lovely coloring was done by the player of Nihilius Zee (whose credit unfortunately did not make it onto FFG): Enkaiden

And the warp gazed back...
